Adalia’s landscapes were Initially influenced by the Welsh countryside during her studies at Aberystwyth University. Having recently completed her MA at Birmingham City University, her work has since evolved from purely rural imagery o scenes that reflect the diverse attributes of her surroundings in the Midlands. Located in between the rural and the urban, Adalia’s paintings often explore the hybridity of spaces and express an interest in Land management. Despite the absence of figures, her painted landscapes consider our role within the landscape, often presenting the gradual infiltration of modern-day life.
